Hey beautiful people. I’m Courtney, the founder of Rawpublic.
I thought I would tell you a bit about my background. For me, it all started about 9 years ago (around 2008) when I was studying nutrition. I was on holiday in Japan and I came across a book on raw foods and juice cleansing. I was intrigued as I hadn’t been taught this in my nutrition degree. After reading the book front to back (twice) whilst traveling, I decided to give it a go. When I got home I did a 30 day juice cleanse as a kick start to my raw vegan journey.
I started making raw vegan cakes for friends and family. The feedback was so good that I decided to blog about it. I was loving how I was feeling living a raw vegan lifestyle, and with my nutrition degree under my belt I knew that I wanted to help inspire others with delicious raw and vegan food. I continued to stock local cafes and make cakes for friends and then I met my now fiance Todd, who had just started his raw vegan journey. We decided to team up and take Rawpublic to the next level.
